  2. USAGE
  3.      L[ist] [<starting_msg_number> [<ending_msg_number>] ]

  5. DESCRIPTION
  6.      The list command prints a list of the messages in the current
  7.      mailbox (or "area").  For each message, the list contains the
  8.      subject header line, the time and date it was created, who it
  9.      is from, how many bytes long it is, and whether or not it has
  10.      been read.
  11.  
  12.      You may include an optional "starting_msg_number"  from which
  13.      to begin displaying  the list.  If you specify a starting msg
  14.      number, then  you may also specify an  ending number as well.
  15.      This will limit the display for you in case there are a large
  16.      number of messages in a particular "area" mailbox.

  19.      list        (Display a list of all messages in the current area)
  20.      l 6         (Display messages headers beginning with message 6)
  21.      list 6 10   (Display only message headers from 6 to 10)
